Fiberglass is the fastest route to water. The shell arrives finished, so once the excavation is signed off the pool is craned in, levelled and plumbed rather than built in place. The gelcoat surface is non-porous, which is what keeps the maintenance load low for the rest of the pool's life. It resists algae, it stays smooth underfoot, and it holds its colour.
